Anybody been to Zest restaurant yet(where albertos used to be I am told)

Useful to have a review so that I will know where to go when I am thrown out of Hideout for not having booked(despite every table being empty)

The hideout is not a busy place, it is booked most nights and they do not churn the tables...you have it for the night.

That way they are able to offer what they do....a great experience from a husband and wife team who try hard to please

Book in and you will enjoy I am sure

I know that is why i rate it highly and always want to go back-especially for the steak.Having said that the chef at the bay at Nonsuch is neck and neck.Tried both on consecutive nights .Allowing for different cuts Nonsuch shaded it but both highest quality.

Le Zest is very good, I think they still finding the right tune, but food is good and the place look very nice. Hideout is my favourite spot, Max & Nicola only have 8 tables and I too had to skip a night when I didn't book... despite playing Squash with Max quite often, and getting my bottom whipped on the course!!! DOH!

Just returned to UK and we visited Le Zest for the first time last Thursday.
We too are real fans of The Hideout and are delighted to say that Le Zest did not disappoint. The food and drinks were really good and on Thursday, a 3-piece band provided some enjoyable background music. I personally would have preferred slightly more generous portions but perhaps I just eat too much! We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely put into our schedule for our regular visits to Antigua.

Exactly! Complaining about the Hideout not being somewhere you can just stroll into anytime is missing what makes the place so amazing. I don't eat out that often anymore, so when I do I try to make it count. I took some visiting friends to the Hideout a couple of months ago and we had an absolutely fantastic meal, as always. They just do not disappoint!
