Car Hire !!!

Car Hire !!!

Postby indoors » Mon Nov 07, 2011 4:55 pm

Hi all,
We're back on the island again Nov 18th for three weeks and really looking forward to meeting up with family and friends. May I ask if there are any good deals on car hire ? We would like a Rav 4-Vitara type vehicle which must be fit for purpose and clean !! How anyone in business nowadays could sooner look at their cars in parking lots than take a punt and do a deal at more competitive pricing is above me. So come on all you guys hustling for business, I don't want to buy the car, I just wanna hire it.
Keep smiling Antigua.

Well, here is how i see it , - i want a car to get me from a 2 b, i m not worried if its not brand new or has no marks, im going to drive it and that means it may get sand in it from trips to the beaches, i hate getting a nice clean car all messed up, new shiny cars attract a lot of attention which may not be all good, im suprised you dont know a good rental company given the time you spend in antigua, a bit like us lol,
if its any good to you , we use dollar we find they provide a service and at the right price, often much cheaper that the rest, having said that we do use them an aweful lot so maybe we get a discount 8-) as you rightly say indoors you want a 4 x 4 and that in my books is a must given the state of the roads ;)
hope you have a lovely trip and stay

Regards

Hi all,
You're right Fran, for the times we're on the island I sometimes think I'd be as well to buy a car and leave it with the Family. I was maybe hoping someone in the hire business maybe looked into the site and wished to steal a march on the usual office offers at the airport. I do think the cars on the website at Jolly Harbour Hire are expensive though. Do enjoy your stay Paul, see the island, meet the people and chill.Catch ya later, indoors.
