Big Bird-

Can't say enough about Adventure Antigua Eco-Tour. The crew was outstanding - we went with Chris, Tony and One Love (how can you not have fun with someone named One Love onboard??). The guys were knowledgeable and attentive - felt like they were long lost pals. We would definitely do this trip again. We booked online before we left and got a discount.

We took the Excellence to Barbuda and also liked it - crew was very good. It was worth the price of the trip alone just to see the frigate birds - so magnificent. Didn't like the open bar the whole trip - suspect it may be why a couple of folks got seasick on the way back. While we enjoyed the trip, if I had to do it over I would research and price out flying over and having a local guide. The miles of unbroken beach were gorgeous but I would have liked to have seen Codrington.

I miss Antigua already since we've had rain almost every day since we've been home (and not just your basic rain, but bodacious thunder storms).

Many thanks cobis mom for your trip report. I can't wait for 21 November to arrive as it has never stopped raining here in N.Yorkshire. We're really looking forward to getting out to Antigua and experiencing some of the fabulous hospitality and kindness we had the good fortune to experience 2 years ago. Hopefully the Islands troubles will be behind them and the Antiguans can get on with what they do best!

Hi,
Can anyone advise whether you can still fly from Antigua to Barbuda and confirm current prices.
Also if going by boat, how long is the journey.I am particularly interested whether the crossing can be rough(as I have a balance problem which maybe worsened by the sea!)
Many thanks
Regards

The ferry is 'Barbuda Express'. It takes an hour and a half. I think you take pot luck with sea conditions.
