Just an interesting footnote. In Codrington Lagoon is a buoy marked AM 52. There is an interesting story about how it got there and from where.

Originally it was a flashing marker on the GRANPAS BANKS, off the East coast of CANADA, where it broke free, then went on a journey of its own across the ATLANTIC OCEAN with the prevailing Gulf Stream current all the way to Spain and Portugal, then down again past the Canary Islands, back again across the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean, and then was spotted and brought ashore at BARBUDA
